Exploring idea intellij
- When we open the intellij on windows the following screen appears:
- On the left side of the screen, the menu appears the first item on the menu is
- .idea: It is reserved for IntelliJ use only and is none of our concern, in this menu if extended there are some files regarding the code styles, etc.
- OUT: it is the compiled version of our java class we just created again none of our concern.
- The SRC file is simply where we create the right-side space to write our code in. To create the class of your concern just right-click on the src and select new from the options and name your class.
- The options on the topmost row of the screen are of great use if used some of them contain many shortcuts which can be handy while writing code and can increase your speed and minimize mouse usage.
